Building a brand from the ground up can be a challenging task, but with the right strategy and a bit of hard work, it is achievable. In this blog post, we will discuss some key steps that have helped BDIPlus create a strong brand that stands out.

Step 1: Identify Your Target Audience

The first step in building a brand is to identify your target audience. This includes understanding their demographics, interests, pain points, and goals. By understanding your target audience, you can tailor your branding and marketing efforts to speak directly to them. BDIPlus has made a platform for professionals that is tailored for smaller businesses to track and manage their deals, contacts, and activities.

Step 2: Define Your Brand Identity

Once you have a clear understanding of your target audience, it’s time to define your brand identity. This includes creating a brand name, logo, and tagline that reflect your brand’s personality and values. For startups, it can feel overwhelming to find where to start without having experience or contacts. As a startup BDIPlus was able to successfully grow an identity, by looking to professionals and freelancers to build, run, and manage the brand identity.

Step 3: Share Your Brand Story

A strong brand story is essential for connecting with your target audience. Your brand story should communicate the values and purpose behind your brand, and it should be consistent across all your marketing efforts. As a startup, BDIPlus started by consulting with other companies to help resolve a broad range of technical issues.  With 20 years of industry experience, Ravi led BDIPlus to successfully develop the digitization of Afficiency.

Step 4: Build a Strong Online Presence

Having a strong online presence is crucial for building a brand from the ground up. This includes creating a website, social media accounts, and other digital platforms that reflect your brand’s identity and values. Your online presence should also be consistent with your brand’s voice and messaging. In efforts to increase company awareness BDIPlus has started to share our industry experience with an online audience. By sharing different issues that companies are facing in the field along with a method of resolving BDIPlus is helping people find suitable solutions.

Step 5: Network and Collaborate

Networking and collaborating with other businesses and industry leaders can help you establish your brand in your industry. This includes attending industry events, joining industry groups, and partnering with other businesses to create mutually beneficial relationships. The most effective networking platform is LinkedIn, which is used by companies and professionals to establish connections of trust, reputation, and values. BDIPlus uses LinkedIn to make posts about company updates, culture, and accomplishments, for example when making a post explaining our product, what it does, and how it can help we are actively engaging with our audience and building new connections. Having a link to the BDIPlus website in our LinkedIn posts encourages people to visit the website to learn more about our company, product, and employees.

Step 6: Measure and Analyze

Finally, measure and analyze your branding efforts to see what’s working and what’s not. Use analytics tools to track your website traffic, social media engagement, and other metrics to understand how your brand is performing. BDIPlus tracks our Key Performance Indicator (KPI) to evaluate how effective the efforts and strategies we set in place.

Building a brand from the ground up takes time and effort, but with the right strategy and a bit of hard work, it is definitely achievable. By following these steps, you can create a strong brand that stands out in your industry and connects with your target audience.
